More about iDENTified PDR from Jim!
Proprietor, trainer and dent expert.
COVID 19 - Lockdown 3.0/ Training is ON!
Due to current Social Distancing regulations and Government guidelines, courses will continue to be run strictly 1 on 1 basis (2 MAN COURSES will be returning soon, so keep checking back - we feel that having a training companion is far better, gives you somebody to compare against).
A risk assessment will need to be carried out to ensure both the candidate and instructor are safe......as operating in a training environment will break the set '2 metre spacing' as stipulated, due to tuition needs and requirements to impart correct methods during instruction.
Candidates coming from afar will need to check that accomodation is available to you.
To book, 'click' book now (see calendar for available set dates*)
We will then contact you to confirm your training date and take payment to secure your place.
(*whilst course dates remain unbooked they are subject to amendment/change - keep checking)
1 on 1 booking information whereby dates are flexible and to be coordinated to fit both student and instructor......we are taking enquiries and continually booking places so check the calendar, with availability for further dates now up to end of Jun 21.

Basic & Intermediate 5 day courses
Train exclusively on a ‘one to one’ basis. Tuition is available with iDENTified PDR, for students who are starting out in dent repairs for the first time, or who have little previous knowledge and experience in this field.
These courses are split into 2 set 5 day schedules, allowing the individual time to go away and practice in between, basic: day 1-5 and intermediate: day 6-10 (optional as a one-off 10 day hit if you wanted - make enquiry if this is your chosen option) as one on one providing 100% focus and dedication to the trainee, to achieve the daily goals set out in the programme, culminating in a theory and practical test to identify the level and understanding attained by the student.
Paintless Dent Removal is often referred to as an 'art' and is most certainly a refined skill once picked up and honed, but it is not for everybody and is nothing without a clear business plan and vision to back up your newly acquired skill.
Basic and Intermediate dent removal course 'flexi date' and 'set date' one on one
The cost of 5 day......' flexi date one to one' tuition is £1075 (£215 per day) - dates for these are flexible and will be coordinated to suit both trainee and instructor. As part of a set class £875......(currently 1 student only) - refer to the booking calendar, see below.
All fees are payable in advance, following confirmation of booking, by cash, card, PayPal or BACS. If you are paying by cheque (to identified PDR) then to be received no less than 10 days before start date.
Added to your Basic and Intermediate training, you will need to know the glue pulling repair processes and systems.
Very much, currently, the growth element of the PDR industry.......and invaluable to technicians running their day to day operations, with repairs varying in size and dimensions allied to positional difficulty.
Glue pulls can be used for complete repairs or for reduction, combined with traditional tool methods.
On this course you will identify the need for and practice glue pulling, recognise it's benefits, use of different pulling/lifting equipment and apparatus, and the specialist glues. Also the importance of heat application and correct working temperatures to effect the best results.
In follow up to the initial Basic and Intermediate training, iDENTified Dent Removal provides continuation training opportunities, designed for those who have completed our first 2 phases dent removal training and are now looking to increase their knowledge and experience of the business.
This period (duration dependent on student needs/requirements) will provide further background and skills training to enable you to consolidate your own abilities and further enhance your capabilities for your career in Paintless Dent Removal, (PDR), or as part of your Franchise package*.
Training is carried out in a live environment, on the road, and is aimed to give you a full insight into the day to day management and the typical range of repairs, covering aspects previously taught or learned plus more challenging fixes, to include 'glue pulling'. Class numbers are limited to one candidate to ensure the full benefit of hands-on personal instruction.
Dates for these are flexible, looking to accommodate trainees where possible, submit enquiry outlining requirements and these will be coordinated as best possible suit.
Course length is variable and can be booked to suit individual needs, from a minimum of 3 days to a full 4 weeks (20 days - Monday to Friday).
As previously mentioned you will be operating in a live environment, confronted by all types of damage and experience all aspects associated with the daily operation of a PDR business.
The relevant daily rates will apply, fees payable in advance ( no later than 14 days before start date) and 10% deposit with booking confirmation.
PDR TRAINING -
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
WHERE - Located on a quiet working farm in close proximity to Stafford and it's amenities, easily accessible from both the North and South via M6 motorway. Plenty of hotels and B&B's all within close commute and details/recommendations can be readily offered should you commit to train with us.
AGENDA - The courses run Mon-Fri 9.30am to 4.30pm (flexible days/times for 1 on 1 training), with a 15 min morning, afternoon and 45 min lunch breaks - all beverages/drinks and lunches (usually sandwiches and snacks) laid on.
CONTENT - Basic - progressive step by step coaching to get you to identify position and movements with and without visual aides, working in open access areas of the panels. Familiarisation with tools and equipment (all provided), understand the different panels on vehicles and their accessibility - how to assess for damage. Be able to track and locate target areas and develop technique and apply the basic processes to repair small dents and creases. Recognise and correct high spots, 'brows' and displacements. Working with control and how to achieve the best finishes possible for presentation. The week culminates in a theory and practical test to determine level achieved and what to concentrate on once you head back to practice.
Intermediate - following on from your basic training and continued practice, repairing small coin sized dents and short creases, the second phase focuses on these 'self same' types of damage but with concentration on areas that are now restricted, both by external position or by internal obstructions. You will, once again, learn how to approach and target these zones using the correct tools and equipment, understanding the potential limitations and difficulties. These 2nd week challenges will include - boxed sections, suage (body) lines, double skins, seamed edges, bracework/strengtheners & side impact bars, as well as sound proofing! Again, the week rounds off with an ability test, both theory and practical, to ascertain your level and what to work on moving forward.
YOUR INSTRUCTOR - Jim has been in the industry for 23 years, starting with Dentmaster/Dent Wizard where he operated as an area and holiday cover technician before departing to set up his own Dent operation in Staffordshire in 2002. He added training to the business services offered around 2010 before being recruited as a sub contract intructor by a local Stafford based company offering automotive training courses - window tinting, vehicle wrapping, and the addition of PDR. Jim ran the courses for them for approximately a year before leaving to refocus on the further development of iDENTified with the inclusion of his own training courses, which have been now running since 2015......accumalative time in PDR instuction now some 8 years.
NEED TOOLS? - Complete sets can be provided, see pics below.......contact us in advance or sort it out once here on your course. We can arrange to have sets available, to take home with you on completion of your week tuition.
